DIGI has improved its fibre speed by more than 43% since 2021

DIGI has now spent five years as the operator with the fastest fibre network nationwide, according to the prestigious Speedtest® platform by Ookla®. The company received the Speedtest Award™ for “Fastest Fibre Network in Spain” at MWC 2026, recognising these five years. DIGI’s average download speed stands at 335.51 Mbps, compared to the market average of 253.80 Mbps.

DIGI TV adds six BBC channels to its catalogue at no extra cost

Specifically, these are BBC Series, BBC Lifestyle, BBC History, BBC Food, BBC Earth and Top Gear. Customers will be able to watch all of them in high definition in their Spanish-language versions.

DIGI exceeds 167,600 line transfers in February, recording its second-best monthly result on record

The operator also posted its second-best monthly figure for fixed-line portabilities, with more than 25,800. It has also surpassed the 90,000 net porting mark in a single month for the seventh time, with more than 92,700 in February. DIGI has recorded more than 317,600 ports in the first two months of the year, up 21% year-on-year.

DIGI reports more than €929 million in revenue in 2025, up 19% year-on-year

The operator, which once again reports a positive net profit, reaches EBITDA adjusted for operating leases of €175 million, up 15% compared to the previous year. It added more than 2.39 million customers throughout 2025, reaching a total of 10.8 million. Fibre customers reached 2.58 million by the end of 2025.

DIGI strengthens its commitment to Athletic Club by extending its sponsorship until 2028

The operator renews its support for the Club’s men’s and women’s first teams. It also includes Genuine Athletic Club Fundazioa and Bilbao Athletic, which competes in Primera Federación, in the agreement, and they will also feature the DIGI logo.

DIGI records the best start to a year in its history for porting, with more than 150,000 in January, up 16% on 2025

It also exceeded January’s mobile portabilities figure from the same month last year by more than 15%, which had also been its highest monthly result on record for this metric. The operator has now recorded more than 100,000 monthly line switches for seventeen consecutive months.
