DIGI TV launches a new interface to make accessing content easier

DIGI Spain (DIGI), the telecommunications operator for the DIGI Communications Group in Spain, has revamped the design and interface of its DIGI TV app. The update provides customers with a more intuitive, fluid, and convenient browsing experience, making it easier to access television channels and the content available in its catalog.

The operator has updated the app’s menu and layout—available on televisions, mobile phones, and tablets—to help users quickly find the content that interests them and choose what to watch at any given time.

Key updates include a new horizontal menu that remains visible on the screen, allowing direct access to various sections without needing to expand a menu. Additionally, the home screen brings together content from the Video on Demand (VOD) catalog and linear television channels, offering more visual information for each title—such as a synopsis, genre, duration, and labels like “Nuevo ("New") or “Recomendado” ("Recommended”).

Furthermore, the app now features improved navigation, including a dedicated carousel for sports channels on the home screen, making them easier to find and access. The overall design is cleaner and more organized, with smoother transitions between sections and content.

The new version is available starting today on devices running Android TV, tvOS, Samsung, LG, and Vidaa, as well as on DIGI TV set-top boxes, with a progressive rollout to other supported devices to follow.

Available on multiple devices

Customers can enjoy DIGI TV content on their mobile devices by downloading the app, which is available via Google Play, the App Store, and the Huawei AppGallery. It can also be downloaded onto Smart TVs through the Samsung, LG, Android, or Hisense app stores, as well as on compatible streaming devices, including Amazon Fire TV, Google Chromecast, and Apple TV.

Additionally, customers can access DIGI TV via a set-top box. The unit provided by DIGI supports 4K decoding and is available for €1.50/month for new service subscribers.

DIGI TV can be added to a fibre internet plan for €7 per month. It includes over 120 channels covering movies, series, documentaries, sports, entertainment, news, and more, along with an on-demand catalog of over 7,000 titles that can be watched anytime, anywhere.

With these enhancements, DIGI continues its commitment to providing customers with an increasingly comprehensive television experience, featuring simpler navigation and more convenient access to their favourite content.
